Wordless Wednesday - Not This Pug!

The weather sure is warming up this week. Today is supposed to be 92 degrees and it has been 9+ all week. Then we are supposed to go on a cooling trend which might include some rain. Weird, huh?

A not so nice side effect of this sunny warm weather is the melting snow in the mountains. Unlike snow melting under the milder temps of Spring (like this is SUPPOSED TO BE), this is melting fast and creating flooding along the rivers it feeds into. We had so much flooding during the winter rains and now this. It really is too much of a good thing. Like the time (the other day) when I had too much juicy sweet wally melon and burped all evening. I was so uncomfortable and bloated. But would I do it again? In a heartbeat! Well, that is kinda like our wet winter equals flooding scenario. Not gonna complain, though. Our reservoirs are so full it is delightful. We drove by one on Saturday on the way to the beach and both Mommy and Auntie B said it had not looked that full since they were in college. That was a LIFETIME (or four, in my case) ago!

Mommy hurt her foot last week and the warm weather is not helping it at all. It is swelling to an enormous size! She has to elevate and ice it a lot. I help by sitting on the chair next to her foot and snoozing. White noise is how I like to call it. Distracts Mommy from the cold cold ice on her foot.

Don't forget to BLOG HOP today. Oh, speaking of blogs, my Cousin J just started a blog to support her new business. The crux of this business is better mommying. So if you are curious or a mom or both, check it out at Thoughtful Mama Blog. Please subscribe, too. Mommy will be helping with some of the articles and she hopes it will be a very informative site.

Hiya Noodles! Please send some of that warmth to Chicago...it's been cold and grey here. Your story about watermelon made me crack up...I've done something very similar...and of course would do it all over again! :D Hope your Mom's foot gets better soon!

Love,
Sid.
